The University Hospital is centrally located on the banks of the Main and is well connected to the road and public transportation network. From outside the city – such as the airport – and within the city, the University Hospital can be reached most conveniently and in just a few minutes via the Hauptbahnhof or Südbahnhof. TRAM:
From the main station take lines 12 or 21; from the southern station take line 15. The most convenient stops are Universitätsklinikum (main entrance) and Heinrich-Hoffmann Straße / Blutspendedienst for the centers of neurology and
neurosurgery, psychiatry, orthopedics as well as the infection ward house 68.
TAXI:
There is a taxi rank at the main entrance at Theodor-Stern-Kai 7; you will usually find a cab there.
PARKING: Parking facilities on the grounds of the University Hospital and in the surrounding area are very limited; construction work on the entire site is also causing restrictions. Visitors will find a limited number of paid parking spaces at the main entrance at Theodor-Stern-Kai 7. Parking fees must be paid at the pay stations before leaving.
